First Story Residential Anthology 2015

The First Story Residential Anthology 2015

3 November 2015 //  by First Story

The First Story Residential Anthology 2015 has finally arrived. It is bursting with the voices of the amazing 78 students who spent a week writing on the First Story Summer Residential Course at Preston Montford Field Centre in Shropshire. Leading them in workshops and one-to-one tutorials were First Story writers Christie Watson, Andy Craven-Griffiths, Dan Powell, Michelle Madsen, Alan Buckley and Mark Illis.

The week was capped off with a grand student reading during which each young person shared a poem or story they had written during their stay – and now you can read these pieces too.

So ‘play tag with dragonflies at midday’, ‘taste runaway grains of pollen leaving home’ and find out why ‘the world is wonderfully mad’.
